La Atlántida albergó un conversatorio de agrupaciones religiosas y condecoró a excombatientes del Malvinas.
Del encuentro religioso participaron nuestro delegado rectoral, Juan Pablo García, y el Subsecretario de Relaciones Internacionales e Institucionales de la Jefatura Gabinete de Buenos Aires, Mario Oporto.
A su vez, disertaron: Agustina Quiroga, Directora Provincial de Relaciones con la Comunidad – Ministerio de Jefatura de Gabinete de Ministros de la Prov. de Bs. As, Juan Torreiro, quien se desempeña como Director de Cultos – Ministerio de Jefatura de Gabinete de Ministros de la Prov. de Bs As, María Pilar García Bossio, Becaria posdoctoral UCA-CONICET.
El conversatorio se centró en la temática del diálogo y el respeto como valores fundamentales en la religión y la política. Los disertantes enfatizaron en promover la convivencia y sumar las voces de todos al debate, como medio para asegurar un futuro mejor sin desentender las diferencias.
Participaron del encuentro las agrupaciones locales y regionales Centro Cristiano Cristo es la Respuesta; Iglesia Misionera Restauración; Cristiano de Restauración; Manantial de vida; Casa de Oración MCyM; Asamblea de Dios, Iglesia del Puente; Iglesia Adventista del séptimo día; Iglesia Cristiana Emanuel Chascomús; Ministerio Restaurando los Muros (Maipú); Fuente de vida (Castelli); y La Biblia abierta (Castelli).
En esta misma jornada, la Atlántida condecoró a dolorenses excombatientes de la Guerra de Malvinas.
Juan Pablo García y Mario Oporto entregaron Medallas de Honor a quienes dejaron o arriesgaron su vida en dicho conflicto, que el pasado 2 de abril cumplió 41 años desde su inicio.
Asistieron al Homenaje los veteranos Gustavo Beica y Mario Mestralet, que recibieron su distinción junto con familiares de José Luis Rodríguez (fallecido en el conflicto) y Néstor Moyano. A su vez, también se condecoró la participación de Daniel Fontana y Leonardo Rondi, que por motivos personales no estuvieron presentes en el evento.

Both site and building have had a special association with authority, government and administration in Queensland since
1825. The Treasury Building is important in demonstrating the principal
characteristics of Italian Renaissance style in late nineteenth century Australian public buildings, and is an outstanding example of its type.
As an intact late nineteenth century building, whose continuity of design has
been preserved over three stages, the Treasury Building demonstrates
a rare aspect of Queensland’s cultural heritage.
The physical intactness of the building, particularly in the interior spaces, demonstrates the working of Queensland executive and administration government in the late
nineteenth century. During this time it was home to two bars, five
restaurants, and eight function rooms. From 1995 to 2024 the refurbished building housed the Conrad
Treasury Casino, contrasting the once political orientation of the building to one full of entertainment.
