A partir de su destacada participación en las Jornadas de Informática 2023 organizadas por la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Atlántida y la Muestra IT de La Costa organizada por la escuela Técnica N°1 de Rojas junto a la red CITECO, estudiantes y docentes del Instituto superior N°169 de General Madariaga presentaron el proyecto “Arrastra y aprende con B y V” (Un desarrollo de software educativo diagramado en Scratch y utilizado para el aprendizaje de las matemáticas y la lectoescritura) en la Feria Internacional del Libro 2024 realizada en La Rural. En este mismo e importante evento la Escuela Secundaria N°7 de Las Toninas también postuló el proyecto “Pancita Llena” (Un prototipo automatizado para alimentar mascotas con tecnología Arduino). Los y las estudiantes, acompañados por el coordinador de extensión de Facultad de Ingeniería Fabián Martínez y docentes de nuestra institución, estuvieron formando parte de dos jornadas de exposición en la Feria Internacional del Libro, dentro del espacio Zona Explora. Participaron junto a distintas instituciones de investigación del CONICET, la Universidad de Buenos Aires y el Instituto Balseiro. Los proyectos fueron invitados a través de la coordinadora de Zona Explora María Cristina Álvarez.
