Mario Torrisi, Emiliano Raggio, Ezequiel Domínguez y Noelia Cassineri representaron a la Universidad Atlántida Argentina en el Rally Latinoamericano de Innovación 2021, participando en el desafío número 6 “Sostenibilidad ambiental orientada al aprovechamiento de residuos plásticos en franjas costeras”.
El Rally se trata de una competencia internacional de 28 horas corridas que tiene como objetivo proponer soluciones creativas a problemas de la región. Los equipos participantes presentaron su propuesta en un video de 2 minutos acompañado de un reporte pautado. Los equipos estuvieron conformados por al menos 1 estudiante de ingeniería de cualquier universidad latinoamericana y al menos 1 mujer. Se integraron además por estudiantes, profesores, investigadores universitarios y/o profesionales de cualquier carrera o disciplina.
Los ganadores se eligieron en tres niveles: Sede, Nacional e Internacional. Los equipos ganadores a nivel internacional presentarán su propuesta en el Congreso Latinoamericano de Ingeniería. Estos fueron: en la categoría “Impacto social”, la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad Nacional del Nordeste de Argentina y en la categoría “Innovación” la Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería de Nicaragua.
