Alrededor del 2006, se vislumbró un proceso de cambio en la actividad turística denominado Posturismo, que con esfuerzo muchos lugares y sitios turísticos aún no han podido dar respuesta a dichos cambios.
Catorce años después, llegó la pandemia de coronavirus, que lógicamente provocó crisis en nuestros sistemas que, como todos lo conocemos, surgen nuevas necesidades, nuevas estructuras, principios, leyes y normas, un nuevo paradigma; brindando nuevas oportunidades y exigencias, aunque no vemos indicios que los organismos superestructurales de turismo hayan asumido cambios a fin de modificar estructuras como funciones.
A partir de dicha pandemia y durante la misma, observamos la llegada de nuevas familias a instalarse en los diferentes centros turísticos de la Costa Bonaerense. Estos nuevos habitantes que han arribado para transformarse en pobladores estables, lo han logrado gracias a las ventajas de una mayor accesibilidad física y tecnológica, y la posibilidad de trabajar o gerenciar empresas a la distancia, lo cual les permite cumplir los deseos de tranquilidad y seguridad.
Esta nueva inmigración interna coincide totalmente con la teoría de Lawrence Moss (2006,) quien define como “la migración llevada a cabo por personas que, habiendo sido turistas en un determinado destino, deciden regresar a él ya no para visitarlo, sino para constituirse en habitantes del mismo”.
Estas migraciones provocan no solo transformación sociocultural sino también en el espacio territorial… “más que consolidar un proceso de turistificación pareciera estar vivenciando uno de metropolización de enclaves residenciales” (Videla, 2015), y así el espacio turístico es cada vez menos un espacio exclusivamente marcado por el turismo (Hiernaux 2006).
Por otro lado, el Posturismo requiere responder a las expectativas de nuestros visitantes que no es otra cosa que brindar vivencias satisfactorias, que se logran cuando el mismo da significados a todo aquello que realiza en su estadía y que actualmente se conoce como “Turismo experiencial”. Buscan una interacción educativa, emocional, social y participativa con el lugar, su cultura y su gente, a través de nuevas propuestas.
Por lo expuesto, vemos que la gestión de los destinos turísticos deben admitir que es necesario:
- Asumir la sustentabilidad ante el rápido crecimiento de la oferta turística, la cual ejerce una presión sobre el territorio especialmente en zonas frágiles.
- Generar mejores condiciones de vida a la población local, para lograr una comunidad sostenible donde logren satisfacer necesidades tanto al residente como al visitante. asegurando las demandas de la sociedad con grados de interconexión, integralidad y transversalidad.
- Concebir un turismo creativo, tanto en espacios naturales como culturales.
- El centro o destino debe ser pensado, organizado e implementado integralmente como un producto turístico.
Para lo cual se requiere:
- Poseer organizaciones flexibles y con capacidad de adaptación ante los cambios internos y de entorno.
- Conformar equipos profesionalizados en distintos campos.
- Organizar espacios de permanentes participación dentro de los organismos públicos como con la comunidad.
- Concebir las administraciones gubernamentales bajo la modalidad de gobiernos abiertos.
- Producir modificaciones tanto en las estructuras como en las formas de gestionar los organismos de turismo con liderazgos para su conducción y actividad.
- Facilitar la participación coordinada de los diferentes actores relacionados (internos y externos) con el sistema turístico.
A fin de propiciar en los pueblos, ciudades, sitios que estén consagrados como destinos turísticos un futuro más sostenible y justo.
